This video depicts the discovery and exhumation of three German SS soldiers by a farmer in Burcy, Normandy. The bodies were exhumed on February 8th 2008, along with a helmet, some belt buckles and other military equipments. Unfortunately no dog tags were found, so the bodies will almost certainly remain unidentified. However, a medical doctor present at the exhumation said that by looking at the condition of the teeth, it appeared that one of the men was “very young”, and the other two were older then 30. All three bodies apparently belonged to men of the Hohenstaufen division, who were killed in combat between August 3rd and 10th 1944 when fighting British soldiers of the 11th Armored divison. The three bodies were reburied in the La Cambe cemetery, in Normandy. About 10 bodies from WW2 are discovered every year in Normandy.
